Positions in ship interior

You will be in charge of:

Working on ships on a travel-based assignment

Repairing scratches, chips, and other types of damage

Installing Gislaved/PVC flooring

Performing minor finishing and trim work

Reading and interpreting blueprints

 

We expect You:

Have experience as a finisher in finishing work (experience on ships is an advantage)

Knowledge of English and/or Russian (an advantage)

Have a driving licence (advantage)

    You will be in charge of:

    Working on board ships on a secondment basis

    Preparation of floors prior to coating

    Carpet installation, vinyl carpet installation

    Laying tiles

    Reading drawings

    Working both independently and in a team

     

    We expect You:

    Have experience as a flooring installer on ships

    Have experience of tiling on board ships

    Have experience with epoxy adhesive and epoxy grout

    Be responsible

    Have a good knowledge of English and/or Russian (an advantage)

    Have a driving licence (advantage)

      You will be in charge of:

      Planning, coordinating and evaluating the work of the company’s employees and subcontractors

      Ensuring that the necessary conditions are in place to carry out the work

      Ensuring that the work is carried out on time and to a high standard

      Completing spreadsheets and progress reports

      Correcting defects and improving the quality of work performance

      Resolving problems as they arise

      Maintaining close liaison with customers and subcontractors

       

      We expect that You:

      Have at least 2 years of experience in the interior design field (shipfitting is an advantage) 

      Communicate fluently in English 

      Are able to work with MS Office computer programs 

      Have skills and understanding of engineering-technical fields, obtain technical education (advantage) 

      Have a category B driving licence 

      Are diligent, have a sense of responsibility and good communication skills
      Have knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire safety, environmental regulations (advantage)
