Leading sustainability in the maritime industry
At Aros, sustainability is part of how we operate — not a separate agenda. From supporting international maritime sustainability initiatives to running our Klaipėda headquarters on solar power, we are reducing our environmental footprint while continuing to deliver complex projects at scale
Our commitment to responsible partnerships
We hold ourselves and our supply chain to the same standard. Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets clear expectations on quality, safety, labor standards, and environmental responsibility — because how a project is delivered matters as much as the result.
Marine environmental management & certification
Our environmental management approach is built on internationally recognized standards. We hold ISO 14001:2015 certification — and we treat it as a baseline, not a ceiling.

Global efforts in sustainable maritime practices
Sustainable Maritime Interiors Initiative
Aros is a signatory of the Sustainable Maritime Interiors declaration — aligned with United Nations goals and backed by maritime sector stakeholders. The initiative aims to improve the full life cycle of passenger ship interiors. We are committed participants because lasting change in this industry requires collective action.
“Zero waste” refit project
In partnership with Kaunas University of Technology, Aros launched the Zero Waste Refit Project — rethinking traditional refit processes through upcycled, lightweight, and durable materials. A practical step toward reducing waste at the project level.
Local sustainability initiatives
We act locally as well as globally. Our Klaipėda operations are where we put our sustainability commitments into practice day to day.

Committed to a greener marine future
There is more to do — and we know it. Aros will continue to invest in sustainability: through the projects we take on, the partners we work with, and the way we run our own operations. The marine sector is complex. So is getting it right. We are committed to both.
