Recently, AROS MARINE has been filled with inspiring promotions that reflect our dedication to personal and professional development. One of such professional growth stories is that of Justas Šimašius. Starting his career with us almost four years ago as an estimator, he now leads our Technological Department.
Since Justas’ leadership role is very recent, we asked him about the toughest part of being a leader: “It is challenge of not getting entangled in daily micro-management. As a new leader, I fully comprehend the significance of focusing on broader departmental goals and future plans. However, I admit I get the occasional struggle to prioritize these objectives over immediate tasks and responsibilities that demand my attention.”
A few things that bring Justas the most satisfaction at work are his team and continuous learning: “I love learning every day, and I’m genuinely excited to be part of my new team. They’re smart and interesting people, and I feel lucky to have the chance to learn from them and with them on a regular basis. It’s going to be an amazing journey of personal growth, and I couldn’t be more thrilled!”
