We would like to shine the spotlight on Austėja Mylė. Starting her journey with us as a lawyer, Austėja now leads her own team as the Head of our Legal Unit.
When asked about the most challenging part of being a leader, Austėja shared, “Although I only recently became a leader of our team, I can already say that the biggest challenge for me so far is to find a balance between leadership and friendship. It is crucial to strike a middle ground – to be demanding when necessary while maintaining sincerity in every situation.”
While talking about the most rewarding aspect of being a leader, Austėja expressed her gratitude for the three main drivers that fuel her satisfaction at Aros Marine. “ Trust is paramount. I am given the space and tools needed to bring about changes, implement new ideas, and grow alongside Aros Marine. Moreover, the abundance of challenges keeps me motivated. Working alongside brilliant colleagues who share the same enthusiasm and desire for development ensures that we never run out of new opportunities. Together, we keep learning, setting ambitious goals for our team and ourselves, and ultimately achieving them. This leads to the third force that propels me forward – results.”
