HEAD OF ENGINEERING UNIT (VISUAL REFITS)

You will be in charge of:

Lead the Engineering & Design unit for refit projects, planning resources and ensuring on-time technical delivery.

Ensure high-quality technical documentation (drawings, specs, MTO/BOQ) and first-time-right execution.

Coordinate engineering interfaces with Electrical, HVAC, and Piping to eliminate clashes before release to production.

Define mounting methods, tolerances, clearances, and ensure constructability.

Prepare technical input for RFQs and review supplier submittals in collaboration with Procurement & QA.

Support Production and Site teams during installation and commissioning; deliver compliant as-built documentation.

Develop team capabilities, promote standards, and drive continuous improvement and CDE discipline.

We expect You:

Proven experience guiding and developing a technical or engineering team on complex interior refit projects.

Strong knowledge of joinery, finishes, and the ability to turn design intent into buildable, cost-effective solutions.

Proficiency with project tools and technical software (AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks or equivalent, Bluebeam, PM tools).

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and excellent written and spoken English.

Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary:

3000-3500 €/mon. net.

Specific salary will be discussed individually, depending on experience, competence, and compliance with other requirements of the position.
