Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Take full ownership and responsibility for overall project management team and the projects they operate in, setup project milestones, deliverables, risk evaluation, ensure projects are delivered on-time, within the project scope budget and full customer satisfaction
Collaborate with different business stakeholders, top management, team members and external vendors to achieve project objectives
Develop detailed workflow and execute project plans in a timely manner while monitoring and tracking the progress
Building up, leading and developing the project management team
Train, Direct, and Motivate your team to meet and exceed Safety, Quality, and Efficiency goals
Perform cost-benefit analysis by project specifications
Identify areas for process improvements, support best practice initiatives and participate in implementation processes
Developing and continuously optimizing of efficient, transparent and flexible project management processes and structures in a highly dynamically growing company
Regular project status matching and analysing plus reporting discrepancies to the management
To be our perfect fit we expect you to have:
Previous project management experience on a large-scale projects for at least 5 years (preferably in the field of international shipbuilding or ship repair)
Excellent project management and planning skills, applying continues improvement (Lean) principles and tools to establish efficient and appropriate actions, prioritising activities, considering objectives, time scales, resources
Exceptional leadership skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MC Project and business analytics tools
Excellent verbal, written & listening skills in English
Strong commercial sense and business acumen
High level of personal initiative and responsibility and structured and target-oriented working practices
Solution oriented approach
Finally, as there will business travel involved in this role, you’ll need a driving licence
